Bhakarwadi is a much-loved crunchy snack from western India, popular in both Gujarat and Maharashtra. A thin dough is spread with a sweet, tangy and spicy masala – traditionally including coconut, sesame and poppy seeds – then rolled up, sliced into pinwheels and fried until crisp. Perfect with tea.
