Mohanthal (250g)

Mohanthal is one of Gujarat's best-known sweets and a fixture of Diwali and festive offerings. Traditionally, coarse gram flour (besan) is slowly roasted in ghee and set with sugar syrup, often flavoured with cardamom and topped with almonds and pistachios. The result is a dense, melt-in-the-mouth fudge with a delicate grainy bite.
