About this product

Spiny gourd (Momordica dioica) – kankoda in Gujarati, also known as kantola – is a small, oval gourd covered in soft spines. A relative of bitter gourd but much milder, it is sliced and stir-fried with spices, fried until crisp or stuffed with masala. Available only seasonally.
